Our Story

A love story that became a mission to create the most personalized custom kippot in the world.

From Our Wedding Day to Your Special Moment

When we got engaged, we started planning every detail of our wedding. We wanted everything to be meaningful, especially the custom kippahs for our guests. We envisioned something truly special: a beautifully crafted personalized kippah that reflected our story, not just a name and date stamped on standard fabric.

We searched everywhere. We browsed dozens of kippah and yarmulke websites, visited local Judaica shops, and explored every custom kippot option we could find. But nothing matched what we had in mind. We wanted a kippah with a custom interior print, an image on the inside that only the wearer would see, a hidden personal touch. We wanted beautiful embroidery on the outside, premium fabrics to choose from, and the ability to see exactly what it would look like before ordering.

That option simply didn't exist. So we built it ourselves.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Kippah Studio different from other kippah companies?

Kippah Studio offers a unique 3D kippah configurator that lets you design your kippah in real time. We specialize in full custom interior prints, a feature most kippah companies don't offer, along with custom embroidery, premium fabrics (cotton, velvet, linen, satin, silk, and more!), and designs for weddings, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, and brit milah celebrations.

Can I order custom kippot in bulk for my wedding or event?

Yes! Kippah Studio specializes in bulk custom kippah orders for weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, brit milah ceremonies, and other Jewish celebrations. Each kippah can feature personalized embroidery, custom colors, and even unique interior prints for your guests.

What fabrics are available for custom kippahs?

We offer premium fabric options including cotton, velvet, linen, satin, silk, and more! Each fabric comes in 20+ color options and is carefully selected for comfort, durability, and appearance. You can also choose different fabrics for the exterior and rim of your kippah.

How does the custom interior print work?

Our custom interior print feature lets you upload any image to be printed on the inside of your kippah. Using our dart warp technology, we simulate how the image will look when sewn into the kippah's dome shape. This is perfect for wedding photos, meaningful artwork, or any design you want hidden inside.

What is a kippah and when is it worn?

A kippah (also known as a yarmulke or skullcap) is a traditional Jewish head covering worn as a sign of respect and reverence. Kippahs are commonly worn during prayers, synagogue services, Jewish celebrations like weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, brit milah ceremonies, and by many as a daily practice.

Do you offer Hebrew text embroidery?

Absolutely! Our embroidery system supports both English and Hebrew text with a dedicated Hebrew font (Noto Serif Hebrew). Hebrew text is rendered right-to-left with proper letter spacing, perfect for names, dates, or blessings on your custom kippah.

What sizes do your kippahs come in?

Our custom kippahs are available in five sizes ranging from 16cm to 20cm in diameter, ensuring a comfortable fit for everyone. Each kippah also includes an optional hair clip for secure wear.
